Dr. Cathrine Stark D.P.M.
PODIATRIST + OWNER
If you had met me as a kid, I was always moving — barefoot, outside, and completely unaware of how much our feet carry us through life.
That curiosity eventually turned into a career rooted in precision, patience, and a genuine respect for the people I treat.
I grew up in Pennsylvania and completed my medical training in Philadelphia, where I went on to complete a rigorous four-year surgical residency at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. My training included extensive time in the operating room, along with multidisciplinary experience across vascular surgery, plastic surgery, internal medicine, infectious disease, rheumatology, neurology, pain medicine, and emergency medicine. That foundation allows me to approach each patient with both surgical expertise and a broader medical perspective.
But how I practice is just as important as where I trained.
You’ll notice it right away, I’ll introduce myself as Cate.
Because while I have the training and experience to guide your care, I don’t believe in creating distance between myself and my patients. I believe in sitting across from someone, listening closely, and treating them as an equal.
One of the biggest things I saw during my training was how often patients were overwhelmed, not just by their condition, but by conflicting information, overpromises, and pressure to make decisions quickly.
That never sat right with me. So my approach is different.
My role isn’t to make decisions for you. It’s to give you clear, honest, and medically sound information, so you can make the decision that fits your life, your goals, and your comfort level.
Because the right plan isn’t just about what’s clinically possible, it’s about what’s right for you.
That’s what I believe good medicine should feel like: thoughtful, transparent, and grounded in trust.
Outside the office, my life is full in the best way. Two kids, two dogs, and as much time outdoors as I can get. I was drawn to the Seacoast for that reason. I value movement, balance, and being able to enjoy life — and that’s exactly what I want for my patients, too.
At the end of the day, my goal is simple: to help you move comfortably, confidently, and without unnecessary limitations, while feeling respected and genuinely cared for every step of the way.
