A thorough foot and ankle exam, including biomechanics and gait if needed
Review of your shoes and wear patterns (bring your most-used pair)
On-site imaging (X-ray or ultrasound), if clinically indicated
A clear diagnosis and personalized treatment plan shared before you leave

Location + Parking
We are located in the Jackson Gray Building, across the street from Portsmouth Regional Hospital. Our address is 330 Borthwick Ave, Portsmouth, NH 03801. We are on the second floor, suite 201.
Accessibility
We have free on-site parking.
Elevator: Park in the front of the building if you need access to the elevator
Stairs: Park on the East side of the building and take the stairs to the second floor

In most cases, no referral is needed to schedule an appointment. However, some insurance plans do require one, so we recommend checking with your insurance company or giving our office a quick call. We're happy to help you figure it out.

We currently accept Aetna, Cigna, Medicare B, Anthem,UMR, and Tricare. Because coverage can vary, our team can verify your benefits before your visit so there are no surprises, just give us a call or include your insurance details when booking. We are working to soon accept Martin's Point, United Healthcare, and Claritev. Martin's Point, United Health Care, Claritev, and Wellpoint.

Custom orthotics typically take 2–3 weeks from the time of your scan or casting. Once they arrive, the doctor checks them to make sure they’re correct and then we’ll schedule a dispense appointment with a Medical Assistant to make sure they fit properly and go over a simple break-in plan to keep you comfortable.

Yes, we treat patients of all ages, including children. Common pediatric conditions we see include heel pain (Sever’s disease), flat feet, sports injuries, and ingrown toenails.

Do you need a podiatrist or an emergency room visit?
CALL OUR PODIATRY OFFICE IF YOU HAVE
Foot or ankle pain that isn’t improving
Suspected stress fracture or mild injury
Ingrown toenails, infections, or worsening redness
Heel pain (including in children/teens)
New or worsening diabetic foot concerns (without severe symptoms)
Wounds, calluses, or skin issues that need evaluation
We’ll do our best to get you seen quickly and start treatment right away.
GO TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM IF YOU HAVE
Severe injury or trauma (car accident, fall, sports collision)
A possible broken bone with significant deformity
Inability to bear weight after an injury
Deep wounds or heavy bleeding that won’t stop
Signs of serious infection:
Fever
Red streaking up the foot or leg
Rapid swelling or severe pain
Foot or toe that is cold, pale, or turning blue
These situations may require immediate imaging, stabilization, or hospital-level care.
